The Tea course is a one-day course designed for hotel staff that work in F&B outlets and have customer contact with opportunities of recommending and selling tea.
This course is part of the Mise En Place Total Quality Management Training Suite.
The services and products that may be offered are extremely diverse, the only conditions being the operations and policies of the participating property.
After this course, successful participants will be in a position to positively enhance the dining experience of the guest by supplying good recommendations with knowledge of (specialty) teas and to increase sales by discreetly maximising sales opportunities at work.
List the most common kinds of tea
Practice the language necessary to describe, compare and recommend tea to guests
Role-play presenting a tea list, recommending and selling tea to guests and improving sales skills (up-selling and cross-selling)
Demonstrate preparing the most common kinds of teas
Develop an understanding of how to create specialty teas (ice tea)
